‘Zack and Cody’ Hit the High Seas in ‘Suite Life on Deck’

Disney Channel’s hit show “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” is about to get a slight facelift — on the high seas. Up until now, “Suite Life” followed Zack and Cody (played by Cole and Dylan Sprouse) on their adventures in a hotel.

The new series will have the Sprouses on a semester-at-sea program on the SS Tipton (you know, London Tipton, played by Brenda Song?) Phil Lewis (who plays Mr. Moseby) will also return for the spin-off, but one notably absent actor is Ashley Tisdale — she is not expected to appear on “Suite Life on Deck.”

Gary Marsh, president of entertainment at Disney Channels Worldwide, commented on the product extension of “ZacK and Cody:”

“Our audience has shown us that after 88 episodes, ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ remains one of their favorite sitcms ever,. We decided to find a new way for Zack, Cody, London and Mr. Moseby to live ‘The Suite Life’ in a whole new setting — this time aboard a luxury cruise liner.”
