Teen sex symbol and Rolling Stone coverboy Zac Efron will commit suicide in the upcoming second installment of ‘High School Musical.’

“As with many epic trilogies, we decided to go in a dark direction for the second installment,” said Disney Channel president Gary Marsh.

“Even though it’s a suicide, we still have a fantastic dance number as go under the water,” said Efron. “I’ll admit that I was shocked when I first read the script. But I trust Kenny 100 percent and I’m confident this movie will be just as fun for our viewers as the first one while at the same time making them think about important issues…”
