Willie Aames Garage Sale – Aames Sells Personal Items After Filing Bankruptcy, Suicide Attempt

Last year Willie Aames tried to commit suicide – this year, Aames is having a garage sale.
What’s going on with Willie Aames and his garage sale? Why is he selling his Eight is Enough and Charles in Charge memorabilia, as well as other personal items?
Willie Aames is in trouble financially – he filed for bankruptcy last year and his house is in foreclosure. The garage sale at his Olathe, Kansas home was an attempt to raise some cash.
Aames sold a piano, leather couches, antiques, artwork, a TV set, a mounted lion’s head and other animals he had hunted. He also sold TV and movie memorabilia and signed autographs at the garage sale.
Willie Aames was being recorded by a film crew for a TV documentary, so maybe that’ll help pay some bills too.
