People is exclusively reporting that Britney Spears is expected to return as a guest star on “How I Met Your Mother.” This information has yet to be confirmed, but here’s the scoop from People.

According to People’s source, “The show is ecstatic and so is Britney. She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

The source also reveals that Britney Spears will return for one more episode of “How I Met Your Mother.”
