The buzz is that Britney Spears may return for another episode of “How I Met Your Mother” — likely because her March 25 guest starring gig grabbed the show its highest ratings.
But will the return of Britney Spears on HIMYM mean a ratings win again? Her cameo as a ditzy receptionist was probably in small enough doses that another guest starring gig wouldn’t hurt the series too much. Then again, I don’t think people are exactly begging to see more of Britney Spears on the show.
I could be wrong, sure. Most reviews of Britney Spears’ appearance on How I Met Your Mother were favorable and fans of the show thought she was just fine too.
No CBS folks have confirmed the rumor of Britney Spears’ return on HIMYM.
