Once Britney Spears’ right hand man/friend, Osama “Sam” Lufti isn’t winning Britney Spears over these days. Britney Spears wants to cut off all contact with Osama Sam Lufti – but will not seek an extension for a restraining order she’s had against him.

Who is Osama “Sam” Lufti? He made headlines for being Britney Spears’ sidekick when she had that bout of craziness, seemingly making decisions for the misguided poptart and even speaking on behalf of her on many occasions. At times, he played manager to Britney Spears, though he was never employed by the singer.

According to Britney Spears’ attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III, “Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama ‘Sam’ Lutfi, now or at anytime in the future.”

Osama “Sam” Lufti issued this statement, “Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Spears have mutually agreed in private that no hearing or order is necessary at this time.”

Britney Spears had implemented a restraining order earlier in this year, barring Lutfi from having contact with her and keeping him 250 yards away from Spears or her homes.

The mystery about who Osama Sam Lufti is and what role he played in Britney Spears’ life is a bit of a mystery – he described himself as a friend and sometime manager – but Brit’s mom, Lynn Spears, accused him of holding Britney hostage in her own home, drugging her and taking over her finances.
