Jamie Lynn Spears — 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears — and her mom confirmed the pregnancy news to OK! magazine; later Nickelodeon released a statement about the news. Jamie Lynn Spears is currently 12 weeks into her pregnancy and the father is Casey Aldridge, whom Jamie Lynn has been dating for some time.

Jamie Lynn Spears told OK! magazine, “It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”

Who is Casey Aldridge? Jamie Lynn met Casey Aldridge at church in Kentwood, Louisiana. The 19-year-old blonde and the Nickelodeon star were rumored to be shacking up in the summer, out and about apartment hunting. Casey Aldridge is the son of a Tennessee papermill worker.

The young father has yet to comment, but Casey Aldridge’s mother, Joyce, said, “At this point, Casey doesn’t wish to speak out, but it would be wonderful when the time comes… Casey will address all of this when it is time.”"
