Muslims all over the world, regardless of nationality/ethnicity etc., have by and large personal names that are derived from Arabic due to the origin of Islam in Arabia. Hence any Muslim can have Arab first and surnames.
As for national origin whether Adnan is Pakistani or Afghani should not be either or question as a significant percentage of Pakistanis are Pashtuns i.e. the true Afghans. A Tajik, Hazara or Uzbek in Afghanistan can be Afghanistani but not really an Afghan – this term is the original name for the Pashtun people living in Pakistan (North West Frontier Province currently known as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), parts of Iran and in Afghanistan a country founded by one Ahmed Shah Abdali and named it after his people. Incidently,in the acronym PAKISTAN P stands for Punjab, A for Afghania, K for Kashmir, I is to denote the vowel i, S for Sind and TAN from Balochistan – the regions comprising the state of Pakistan. So to the Afghanistanis who have written their comments above all I can say is that there are more Afghans in real numbers in Pakistan than in Afghanistan even if we include non-Afghans such as Tajiks, Hazara etc. So please refrain from nationalism that shows your ignorance of reality on the ground.
Adnan is from a Pakistani Pashtun family settled in Birmingham which has the largest number of these Pakistani Afghans in the UK – the other major centres of Pashtun populations are Sheffield, Bradford and other smaller towns in the north of England.
Oh and another fact before I sign off, North West Frontier Province (Pakhtunkhwa) was officially incorporated into British India in 1901 – before then it was Eastern Afghanistan a region of the Kingdom of Afghanistan, with Peshawar as its regional capital.

He is originally from Afghanistan, Ghalib moved with his family to London. I don,t think that his parents are very much proud of him.

We have no right to judge him, since no one is perfect, i am not sure if he is really wearing the crucifix.
