Late last night there was a back-to-back showing of “The Lizzie McGuire Movie.” Seeing the listing for it while channel surfing got me thinking, “What has Little Lizzie been up to lately?”

I mean, I know Hilary Duff and ex-boyfriend Joel Madden broke up like a year ago, and she’s been dating some hockey star, and that her music careers been doing really well, but what else? She was in “Cheaper By the Dozen” of course. And a few days ago she gave her boyfriend a lap dance in a restaurant – uncool.

But career-wise, Hilary has definitely moved beyond television. Good-bye Lizzie, Hello Spotlight. In 2008, Hilary Duff has THREE movies coming out: Foodfight, Greta, and Safety Glass. It’s good to know that a Disney Star can get such a nice kick-off into the world of Hollywood. Even if it does take hard work and a lot of guts to get out there.
