Jay Leno

Jay Leno is a very wealthy man who has every intention of supporting his writers until this conflict is resolved. Currently, the TV show is playing reruns.

However, the network is considering starting the show again November 19th, by reverting to using guest hosts so 1) the show can go on, and 2) the jobs of the non-writers won’t be lost. The same possibility is being presented to Late Night TV shows, including “Late Night With Conan O’Brien.

Leno’s Chief Writer says he doesn’t expect Leno to return to the show anytime soon. “I talk to Jay every day, and he will not be the first (late-night host) to cross the picket line.”
