It’s been awhile since I’ve seen “Supernanny” on ABC, but it’s always fun to see an “expert” bring her magical bag of parenting tricks to the table. Supernanny Jo Frost always seems to set everything straight — and I often wonder how much is editing and how much actually works.

Tonight’s episode of “Supernanny” (February 20) features former Wilson Phillips singer Wendy Wilson and her brood of four (plus husband Dan Knutson): Leo, 4; Beau, 3, and 6-week-old twins Will and Jesse. Her parenting nightmare came to light when the new babies joined the family — and the two older kids started to regress.

Wendy Wilson (whose sister is Carnie Wilson) says of the episode, “I did not have any clue as to what her observation of us would be like, and that was part of the intrigue. She definitely steered us into a better direction and gave us some great pointers. It was like a gift given to our family.”

“Supernanny” airs tonight at 9 PM on ABC.
