Despite Wayne Newton’s recent cardiomyopathy diagnosis which caused him to cancel Las Vegas shows and skip out on the finale of “Dancing with the Stars,” he will be able to perform in the DWTS tour.

Newton announced today that his doctors have released him for the tour, saying, “I’m thrilled that my doctors have given me the ok to hit the road this winter and perform for all of my fans across the country.” Clearly, performing is in his blood, as he’s never one to want to let his fans down.
