In the Pepsi Max Super Bowl 2011 commercial “Love Hurts,” after controlling everything her man does, a couple enjoys a Pepsi Max together until he gets a wandering eye for the woman on the next bench. Girlfriend hurls soda can, pops woman off bench and couple plans a speedy getaway.

What did you make of this Pepsi Max commercial? I’ve read a lot of complaints, ranging from the racist element, to disturbing (who slams someone with a soda can and runs away?), to the ad being just plain stupid.

The Pepsi Max “Torpedo Cooler” offered up a new approach to handling douchebag behavior – a shot to the nuts with a cola launching cooler shuts up the offending preppy pretty quickly.
