No, they don’t have to play in the room and hangout but it would seem much more reasonable if they hadn’t made such a HUGE deal out of staying out of the room on camera. That went over like a flat tire.

I was appalled when I began to read all the rude and nasty comments on this site about Jon and Kate. They are no different than celebrities (sports, actors, musicians, etc.) who make large sums of money. Sure in the beginning they had no money and TV saved them, but who of us could trade places with them and raise these children to be such beautiful human beings. I am proud for them. They really needed the extra room as the kids get older. I can understand the rules for their room. Their is enough space for the kids without using Jon and Kate’s bedroom also. She is probably glad to have a bit more room to move around in.

Show the house and/or location and to be completely safe, the kids would have to stay inside or they would have to have razor wire fencing to protect them. Get real, people! sara do you even have kids? WellI have 3 and at times I would also like our bedroom to be only for my husband and I, but unfortunately that doesn’t happen.
More power to here if she makes a rule and the kids stick to it. with that many kids they have to set strick rules or they would be over run quickly! She should be thankful for the house, her kids, for Jon, and remember the people who helped out from the time the sextuplets were born until she really didn’t need all that help anymore.
