Fantasia Barrino, who days before her suicide attempt had made headlines for having an affair with a married man, tried to kill herself with an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid.

On VH1′s Behind the Music, Fantasia says “I didn’t have any fight in me. I didn’t care about anything. I just wanted out.”

Fantasia added, “At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with, all of it, all of that [expletive].”

Hopefully Fantasia’s life is on the upswing – suicide isn’t the way, ‘Tasia! Hang in there for yourself and your daughter.
