VH1 will begin a journey into the behind-the-scenes antics at the Jerry Springer Show with Sunday night’s premiere of “The Springer Hustle.”

The 8 half-hour episodes will focus on the team of producers responsible for the trashy television show in American history (with Maury and Roseanne coming in a close second).

Selena is obsessively driven. Toby, one of the show’s top producers, whose recent run of bad luck has sent him into an emotional tailspin. Annette is one of the original producers, who left the show for a few years. And then there’s the demanding boss Richard Dominick, who’s real stingy with the compliments.
