Well, this isn’t much of a surprise… Valerie Bertinelli is getting her own talk show.

Valerie Bertinelli has been prepping for the position of talk show host by reporting on the Rachael Ray show, plus she’s been seen on just about every talk show this past week promoting her book, Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time.

Valerie Bertinelli’s appearance on Oprah was a ratings winner, so it looks like the “One Day at a Time” star could have a hit with her own talk show.

The Valerie Bertinelli talk show could begin during the 2009-2010 season.
