Ty Pennington Sentenced To Three Years Probation For DUI Arrest

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” host Ty Pennington was sentenced to 36 months probation, fined $1,500 and ordered to attend a 90-day alcohol education program after pleading no contest to driving under the influence of alcohol, Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan announced on Friday.
The former TLC star was arrested in the Marina Del Rey section of Los Angeles on May 5th, his blood-alcohol level was .14 percent.
“I’m happy to bring closure to my recent court proceedings,” the energetic carpenter said in a statement.
“Drinking and driving is never acceptable. I have pleaded no contest and will abide by the court’s ruling. I hope this experience can help others as much as it has helped me.”
