Tracey Gold Hosts “The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom” on TLC

Tonight (March 3) on TLC, Tracey Gold will host the new reality series, “The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom.”
“The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom” examines what happens when stay-at-home moms have the option of returning to the workforce. Is returning to a career the right option for all of the soccer moms involved on the show?
According to Tracey Gold,
“They don’t really know what kind of show they’ve signed up for. They think it’s going to be relaxing and it’s going to be like a spa week. And then I let them know that no, you’re actually going to work.
All of these women were career women, and when they had families, they had to leave their jobs. But this is giving them the opportunity to do the career that they left behind and see if they still want to do it, if they still like it. All these women have, at some point, expressed a longing or a desire to get back into their respective fields.
It’s not a competition and there’s no right or wrong answer,” said Gold. “We don’t preach anything, it’s just what is right for each individual family. But these women get amazing opportunities.”
“The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom” airs tonight at 10 PM on TLC.

Ordinary stay at home moms??? What’s ordinary about nurturing, teaching and loving your child? You either CHOOSE to have a career or stay at home to raise your children yourself-but you can’t have both! Ask any child across America: Would you rather have your mommy, a day care worker or a nanny to love you, hug you, read to you, rub your back, sing you lullibies and take care of you? Not one child would every say a nanny or day care worker. Doesn’t that make sense. Please stop trying to tell hard working stay at home moms that they SHOULD be working. We are right where we SHOULD and love to be.
