Chris Farley’s family was contacted, and gave their approval for the commerical. Both the Farley family and David Spade looked at it as an homage, not as an insult. If someone told Chris Farley that they would not just advertise the “Tommy Boy” DVD, for free, but pay royalties to his family, I’m sure he would go for it. James, you are an a$$.
