
“Meet the Press” host and NBC Washington bureau chief Tim Russert died earlier this afternoon from a sudden heart attack. Tom Brokaw reported the news at 3:39 today, saying that Tim Russert had died after collapsing earlier in the day at work. Tim Russert was 58.
Tim Russert had just returned from Italy with his family.
Tim Russert was recording voiceovers for “Meet the Press” when he collapsed.
