Golfer Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident, pulling out of his driveway at his Orlando area home this morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Tiger Woods pulled out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m., struck a fire hydrant and drove into a tree on his neighbor’s property.

Tiger Woods had reportedly been in serious condition following the car accident. Alcohol was not a factor, according to Highway Patrol.

Later reports, however, painted a different picture – Tiger Woods was treated for facial injuries and released from the hospital.

A statement from Woods’ publicist and Health Central Hospital said Woods was “admitted, treated and released today in good condition.”
