Third Season of Rock Star in the Works?

I’ve been a big fan of “Rock Star,” if only because it’s the anti-American Idol. After the INXS and Supernova seasons, news of a possible third season seemed to evaporate.

Now, Mark Burnett is looking to bring “Rock Star” back to our TVs for a third installment.

Mark Burnett commented about the possibility of “Rock Star 3:”

“It’s funny. It’s probably — if you look at these online studies — one of the most requested shows to come back from anything I’ve done and almost anything is Rock Star And yes, I am in discussions with various bands. There’s one flaw in that as a business, is that you have to find a suitable rock band that actually wants to find a new lead singer. So you got quite a barrier to entry. But yeah, we are in discussions with some bands. And yeah, people do want to see that series again.”

What band would you like to see on the third season of “Rock Star”?

Rockstar: Partridge Family. Danny Bonaduce sure could use a “break”. Hopefully he won’t punch out any of the contestants
