people r making it such a big deal..but its not..i know it was a lil bit racy but u all know how adam acts on stage! u shoul’ve known that he might do something like that! its not surprising!
actually ppl r making it big only because adam is gay and they hate gays! dont be haters!!its not ur business if he’s gay or not! the only thing that matters is that he is an amazing singer!! so stop hating him only because his sexuality! u ppl have to GROW UP! and he;s not the only singer who did something like that on stage! and its really not that big deal to talk about it for months! u ppl r stupid!just think about that..ask ur self..why u hate him?? becuase he’s gay?! uhh! ur so stupid!who cares!?!?!

I agree with Sheri. And what about Carrie Underwood? She looked like a total hussy. Do we want “the children” to relate to her? Not to mention Janet Jackson and her crotch-grabbing routine. And I can’t believe parents would take or allow their children to watch this kind of show. We all know how sexual in nature many of the performances are.

Ok. Seriously, if I hear one more “think of the children” argument like this I will barf. What did you think of Eminem singing about rapes and murders? What did you think of Shakira dancing in the middle of 50 scantily-cald air-humping women? What did you think of Rihanna and her gun-wielding dancers? Pretty cool for children to watch? Give me a flipping break.

All this faux outrage stinks of BS and yes, it is a double standard.

I think his performance was not appropriate for this show. He showed disrespect to all those there and those watching. There were children at that show and many more at home watching. I was a huge fan of his, but I am extremely disapointed at what he has done. He’s voice is beautiful and he doesn’et need to use all the stage antics he does. Adam please just get back to the singing!!!!

I think the performance was fine for TV and for the amercian music awards. I am not a fan of the stupid Idol show but since it is all over the news, Adam should have won by far. People are just against Gays and that is why there is such an issue. I think he should be live on every morning show. Maybe it will wake up some of the stupid people in this world.

While the performance was offensive and extreme, Adam’s comments today regarding his performance were arrogant. This was not the venue for this performance and I do not understand why ABC did not go to break. Adam should not be permitted to perform on national TV. He needs to go back to the private clubs that he is use to performing in. I am very disappointed and hate the fact that this is what we all encouraged with our vote when he was on AI. Thank God he did not win because….Adam is NO American Idol!!
