I really hope this isn’t the last season. I love this show. It would be great if they continue on with Henry’s life, then spotlight his children’s lives.

I really hope this show would expand to include the lives of Henry’s children..especially Mary…aka Bloody Mary…definately one of my favorite shows of all time!

Me too because if I had learned about King Henry and the queens this way rather than the text book version, I would have retained way more. I love how the story unfolds from Queen to Queen and how his daughters had to take a role in his life no matter how big or small at the time. I really hope the fans keep it going into more seasons. The FANS can keep a show going if we blow the viewings out of the water.

I really hope it continues too!! Specially with Elizabeth´s life, which was extraordinary!! Love this show too…HEY, SHOWTIME, IT´S CALLED “THE TUDORS”, NOT “HENRY THE 8TH”!!

I only became interested in this royal history after watching the Tudors. It’s an amazing show, so well done! I actually knew nothing about any of them, but bought a book about Elizabeth after watching the show. I do hope they keep the show going, as his children were just as mad and interesting as King Henry VIII himself!

Lisa, not all of Henry’s children were as “mad” as what he was… I love this show for the fact that it highlight’s Henry’s desperate need for a male heir, yet he had one with Mary Boleyn, and how despite this it’s his female heir’s who are now ruling England! Amazing!!

I was thrilled when this show came out! I had read The Other Boleyn Girl and the Boleyn Inheritance (both very good) and this show followed the story line very well. Love it!!

It would be great if HBO chooses to continue on with Elizabeth’s story, as others suggested!

good god, please don’t learn tudor history from this show! I adore this show, adore Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but it is incredibly historically inaccurate.

We just started watching the beginning of last year. We are hooked, We bought all the series to catch up and we have lent them out to all of our family members and friends….and now we are all patiently waiting for the fourth season….but very saddened to hear its the final season….Please don’t let it be the End….There’s so much more to tell and history to be told….We just Love Everything about the Show…Actors…Set Designs…Costumes…Everything!!!!!!

I’m sad for its ending but glad they didn’t extend it and add content that may not be true (embellished) just for ratings. I think and hope that they start a new program that is based on the pandemonium that takes place after King Henry’s death and the race for the throne thereafter

If the show is going to end this season it Should Have been named “King Henry VIII”! NOT “The Tudors”! the show’s ending with King Henry’s death… Not going on to show the Reign of his children… All of “The Tudors”!

This show made history come to life for me. My vision of King Henry was of the aged ugly fat old man in a portrait. The cast is AMAZING.

Thank you HBO — this show made me curious enough to listen to the Great Courses tapes on The Tudors and the Stuarts …

Bring on a series for Queen Elizabeth!!!

Great series! Brilliant portrayal by Meyer, and cried for ms Bolyen. Good to hear there will be a fourth series, it’s that time of year again and I’m missing it. Keep making them!

I agree with you completely Mona, it would be great to see them start a new show from Henry’s death. I would love to see how both of the queens reign are played out. I’m fascinated!
