After “The Time Traveler’s Wife” swept the movie theaters over the weekend, now comes chatter that the book/movie will also be making an appearance on the small screen.

ABC has ordered a pilot based on The Time Traveler’s Wife, written by Audrey Niffenegger. The TV adaptation will be written and executive produced by “Friends” co-creator Marta Kauffman.

No word on who will be cast in the new series.
