The Simpsons Turns 20!

The world’s most famous dysfunctional family, the Simpsons, are celebrating 20 years on television.

The cartoon, first seen on The Tracey Ullman Show in the US on April 19, 1987, has become TV’s most popular series and is shown in sixty countries.
Fox said nothing special was being done to mark the 20th anniversary.

‘The 400th episode is coming up in May so there will be a party then,’ a spokesman added.
