
Real-life towns called Springfield in the U.S. are competing with each other in a competition to coincide with the long awaited release of The Simpsons Movie.
Towns in 14 states have been asked to send in short films showcasing their own versions of iconic locations on the hit show - with the winner being chosen to host the film premiere on July 26th. The Simpsons creator Matt Groening says, “We like to keep them all in suspense. It’s been a little game.”
