“D’oh!” – Naturally comes to mind over the news that the cast of The Simpsons has signed on for four more years and negotiated a raise from mid-$300,000 to $400,000 per episode.

Production for the 20th season of The Simpsons starts shortly.

The main Simpsons cast members — Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Kavner (Marge), Nancy Cartwright (Bart), Yeardley Smith (Lisa), Hank Azaria (Moe) and Harry Shearer (Mr. Burns) all get a hefty pay increase, while Castellaneta has been named consulting producer on the series.

Although the voice actors have signed a four year deal, The Simpsons hasn’t been renewed by Fox beyond the 20th season.
