E! has pulled the plug on ‘The Simple Life.’ The reality TV series, featuring former Hilton Hotel heiress Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie will not be picked up next season. “The Simple Life” originally ran on the FOX network, and was later picked up by E! Monday night’s controversial episode will feature the socialites undergoing a ‘Black Woman Makeover’ courtesy of ‘Blackface.’

“We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show,” says the insider. “Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn’t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out,” an E! source tells the tabs.

“Paris carried the show. She was the one willing to do anything,” says the source. “Nicole was the diva.”

Um whoever said that last line obviously has it wrong. NICOLE was the one willing to do anything; she stuck her arm up a cow’s ass in the first season. She also took the heat when they got in trouble. Without Nicole’s wit the show would never have lasted this long.

I’m just glad that stupid show was finally dropped and that Paris was brought to her knees through her own actions. Hopefully she has learned that she needs to behave responsibly as an adult with class and dignity. That means not exposing yourself at every opportuity. E is correct to drop Paris’ show. She was over exposed in more ways than one. Now nobody cares, BIG SURPRISE….NOT!!
