The second season of the FX series “The Riches” will premiere on March 18. While this is good news — the sad news is that only seven episodes will air. Beggars can’t be choosers, I suppose.

I have a little confession to make: I have most of the first season of “The Riches” still sitting on my DVR, and despite my best attempts, I just can’t get through them. Not for lack of loving the concept of the series or the stars involved (seriously, I’d follow Eddie Izzard to the end of the earth, and Minnie Driver ain’t half bad either!). I just can’t seem to carve out the time to get to the remaining episodes from season one.

Looks like I’ve got a little time to catch up before season two of “The Riches” returns on March 18.
