“The Girls Next Door” have landed their third Playboy magazine cover — this time gracing the March 2008 issue. It’s all who you know, apparently.

Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson look hot (surprised?) on the March 2008 Playboy.

Hugh Hefner assures readers that it wasn’t planned to have “The Girls Next Door” on the cover. Hefner told the Associated Press:

“It kinda happened by accident. It was not the original plan. I knew we were overdue for a cover featuring the girls. For our annual sexiest celebrities list, we always get votes from readers on the Internet of who should be on the top of the list. Lo and behold, as the votes were coming in, we found the girls moving up higher and higher on the list.”

Holly, Bridget and Kendra will appear on three different covers for the “25 Sexiest Celebrities” issue. The March 2008 Playboy hits newsstands February 8th
