Two great things going on here – a new song from The Fray, “You Found Me,” wrapped around a promo music video/preview for Lost, premiering January 21. The Fray “You Found Me” video aired November 20, but you can check it out above.

It gave me chills. What did you think?

The Fray “You Found Me” lyrics are, in part:

“Where were you?
When everything was falling apart.
All my days spent by the telephone.
It never rang
And all I needed was a call
It never came
To the corner of First and Amistad

Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded
Why’d you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late.
You found me, you found me.

Early morning
The city breaks
I’ve been calling for years and years…
and you’ve never left me no messages
Never sent me no letters
You’ve got some kind of nerve
Taking all I want

Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded
Why’d you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late.
You found me, you found me.”

It made me realize that not everything is forever…you know? Like when you lose people and things you never appreciated. When you never went after that special person, why? Who knows…but it’s certaintly making me think about all the people ive just walked away from. The Fray always has so many sad songs and sometimes they are stupid, but this song is DEFF. a favorite.
