Wow if you’re actually going to put “Family Matters” on this list and bash Urkle then you don’t know what entertainment is at all! How is “House of Payne” not on this list? Oh and some of your inclusions:

Mama’s Family
Perfect Strangers

were you brainwashed or something?! Next time make a list with actual research and facts, not your own personal opinion! FAIL!

I was really very disappointed with the list of 25 worst shows. Whoever compiled this list certainly did not take in account that the general public merely wants to come home, take off their shoes and laugh at what they think is funny. This lists truly not only insults the tastes of the common american viewing audience but the intelligence. We do not want or need some suit wearing high paid executive to tell us what already know and that is what really entertains us. For all the shows that were cancelled and for all the veiwers that loved these shows I apologize for the networks that carried them to come back and insult us in this fashion and still expect our support. Thank you for writing.

The Nanny why were they on this list the nanny shouldn’t have been on this list because it ran for 6 consecutive years and it was just awesome her laugh was a little bit annoying but it was still good.

One show that is not on here is ELLEN i mean i love her talk show its just her sitcom was a complete and utter failure.

The reason american idol and project runway arn’t on this list is because they arn’t sitcoms.

Finally, why are everyone saying that Two and A Half Men should be on this list i personally don’t agree it is awesome and i love it along with everyone else at my school.

Just to add for folks who keep adding 1-hour dramadies (7th Heaven, Dawson’s Creek, Cop Rock), reality/competition shows, actions shows, etc., this is a list of Sit-coms. They are almost always 1/2 hour, and they are primarily comedy. If a show does not fit that bill, or is only unintentionally comic (Cop Rock is a good example), it doesn’t belong on this list.

After reading through this list of comments, many insulting some of my favorite shows (Seinfeld and Friends primarily, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, and Arrested Development only once or twice), I believe some sort of consensus has been reached:
a.) My Mother the Car should be added to the list
b.) The Nanny should be removed. Not my favorite, but certainly much better than say Men Behaving Badly
c.) Yes, Dear should be removed.
d.) Some research should be employed to go back further than the 80s. Also, some shows that aired 1-5 times and were unceremoniously canceled should probably be added. “The Mike O’Malley Show” could be a good candidate. Two painful episodes.

Well I dont think Family Matters was a bad sitcom cause it lasted a long time and you got to see all them grow up and it was wholesome unlike tv today. Maybe im just old school.
