Steve Neild: Kate Gosselin Rumored to Have Affair with Bodyguard
Steve Neild is coming into focus in a rumored cheating scandal with reality star Kate Gosselin. But is there any truth to a Steve Neild/Kate Gosselin affair?
Steve Neild is Kate Gosselin’s bodyguard – and now that Jon Gosselin has been accused of cheating, the rumor mill is dragging up this doozy about Kate and Steve.
Steve Neild has been seen with Kate Gosselin while she’s been doing her book tour – yep, that’s right, the book tour that takes her away from Jon and the kids. Anything is possible, I suppose, but seems like tabloids are digging up any story they can over Jon & Kate at this point.
Kate Gosselin says the Steve Neild cheating rumors aren’t true: “The next story coming out from the animals that stalk us is about our security person and his family. Already the allegations they’re making about me are disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable, and I am horrified.”
The bodyguard and his family are close with the Gosselins, it seems, as Kate said, “These are people who absolutely love us and want to see us through to the end. Of course, both of them travel with us at times, we’ve spent holidays together, because, in this situation, your circle grows smaller and smaller, and it’s very natural to become friends with your manager, your publicist, your security team.”

People in the spotlight often face these types of rumors. But there is a catch, many rumors often have a hint of truth somewhere in them…whether they are cheating or not it simply may be a case of a troubled marriage that people who know them are aware of and thus make incidents such as these look worse than they are. However, I would hope that both Kate and Jon are aware they are in the public eye all the time and understand the life that goes along with it. If not, the road they are traveling is going to be a rough one to hoe.
