Stephen Colbert Wins NASA Space Station Module Name Contest
Was there any doubt that once Stephen Colbert asked his Colbert Nation to vote for him in NASA’s space station module naming contest, that his legion of fans wouldn’t catapult him to the top of the list?
Stephen Colbert won the NASA space station online naming contest, beating the suggested options with his fans’ write-in “Colbert,” which won 230,539 votes (easily beating the runner-up name “Serenity”).
While the International Space Station “Node 3″ room will be launched later this year, NASA has the right to choose another appropriate name – so, will Colbert’s winning name be selected?
