Congratulations are in order for Star Trek’s George Takei and his partner, Brad Altman, who got married last night in Los Angeles. It was a Buddhist wedding ceremony for the longtime couple.

George Takei told People.com, “All I can remember is what the priest said. That this moment will never happen again. It’s something to savor.”

200 people attended George Takei and Brad Altman’s wedding, where vows took place in a circle of yellow rose petals.

George Takei and Brad Altman were finally able to have a legal commitment ceremony after being together 21 years.
