So, “The Hills” Spencer Pratt isn’t a complete waste of space.

Spencer Pratt and his friend (really, he has one!), Ron Feemster, returned to their North Carolina High School to donate $20,000.

Ron Feemster (who produced Heidi Montag’s album) donated $10,000 and gave $1,000 to the student with the highest GPA at Kings Mountain High School. More money was handed out to students and Spencer Pratt gave some kind of pep talk at the Kings Mountain Family YMCA.

According to the family coordinator at the YMCA, “He [Spencer Pratt] said it’s important for the kids to be morally aware of what they’re doing.” Apparently, Pratt talked about how “God has changed his life and how it’s happened in the past two or three weeks.”

Nice PR trip, Spencer. Well played.
