Sopranos hang-outs popular for fans
Fans of The Sopranos are hanging on to the nostalgia by lurking in spots that appeared regularly on the show, such as Holsten’s - an ice cream parlor that appeared as a diner..
The owner says that the phone rings all day long with people wanting to reserve the booth Tony sat in. They also want to eat Tony’s last meal on the show - onion rings for $2.50 - and are often disappointed to find out they can’t listen to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” on the jukebox because it was just a prop on the show.
Fans are even taking part in a Sopranos-based bus tour with 47 stops, starting in Midtown Manhattan, through the Lincoln Tunnel, and into Jersey.
