Soleil Moon Frye Opens Eco-Friendly Children’s Store
Did you ever wonder what happened to Punky Brewster? You know that, birght, sweet little girl abandoned by her parents? She’s all grown up, with one daughter of her own (Poet) and another child on the way. Just recently, she opened an eco-friendly baby store, The Little Seed,” with two friends, Paige Tolmach and Beth Birkett.
The three women decided to make it easier for parents who wanted to one-stop-shop for organic clothing and blankets, and other non-toxic, non-allergenic toys, diapers, and other products. Everything in the store is environmentally-minded, with non-toxic paint and reusable shopping bags.
“It’s an opportunity to make the planet a little greener,” said Frye. Not only are these products better on the environment, but they’re good for the babies, too. And don’t think that “non-toxic” toys means bad ones, either. Poet loves art, and always plays with the non-toxic paint and crayons.
