Sockington on Twitter may just overthrow Ashton Kutcher for number of followers – Sockington is doing a pretty good job at gaining fans… you know, for a cat.

Sockington has over 500,000 followers on Twitter at this point, so he’s not quite to the million that Ahston Kutcher and CNN attained, but he’s gaining.

Sockington is a Massachusetts cat, whose tweets are naturally typed by his master – he is a cat, for god’s sake.

Sockington, or “Socks” for short, lives near Boston with owner Jason Scott; Socks was a stray cat found in 2004 outside a Boston subway station.
