Simon Cowell Produces ‘Star Struck’ Movie Musical

‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell has set his sights on motion picture production with the American film ‘Star Struck’ – which follows reality TV hopefuls on their quest for fame.
“The story is told through the eyes of ten contestants. We want it to be the musical version of Rocky – an underdog story, a feel-good film.”
Simon hopes the film will be a modern day version of the 1980′s hit ‘Fame.’
“Fame was all about young people wanting to be famous, and, in order to do that, they enrolled in a drama school,” said Cowell. “Everyone who wants to be famous today signs up for American Idol.”
