Ever since Lakisha Jones got a big smooch from Simon Cowell, every interview has included the question as to what kind of kisser he is. She has consistently said that it was quite nice and that he has very soft, thin lips.

During a commercial break last night, a grandmotherly woman wanted to test drive those lips herself; Simon generously puckered up to give her two smooches.

Although Jordin received high praise, the judges paid little attention to her actual performances and talked through most of each one.

Lulu, who performed on the results show of the British Invasion week, was a guest in the audience. She still holds firm to her early prediction that it will be Blake and Jordin in the finals.

Scott Wolf was also there with his wife and says they both love the show and are pulling for Melinda, whom he claims “could be one of the great ones of our time”.

Blake remained on the stage after his performance of “When I Get You Alone”, spending the commercial break shaking hands and hugging everyone in the band and the background vocalists, thanking them all for making his final performance at the CBS studio so great; next week the finalists move on to the Kodak Theatre.
