Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon is in love — with a woman. It’s not new news, really, but Cynthia Nixon is now talking about her lesbian relationship with girlfriend Christine Marinoni.

Cynthia Nixon began dating Christine Marinoni shortly after her split with Danny Mozes — her boyfriend of 15 years.

Cynthia Nixon told OK! Magazine:

“I’m in a fantastic relationship. It’s been about four years. I’m in love with Christine [Marinoni] because she’s her. If she were a man, would I be in love with her? I don’t know.

We shop and cook and raise children – we both pitch in.”

Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni are raising the Sex and the City star’s two children: 11-year-old Samantha, and six-year-old Charles.
