No doubt that Selena Gomez is one of the up-and-coming stars of Disney – and now her show, Wizards of Waverly Place, is getting the movie treatment when it heads to the big screen.

Selena reveals plans to shoot the Wizards of Waverly Place movie in New York and doesn’t reveal too much about the film’s plot, saying, “I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed.”

As for season two of Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena Gomez says, “I think that my fans will expect more magic and crazy stuff going on. I think you see Alex (played by Gomez) more mature this season. She gets her first boyfriend. His name is Daniel, and he’s just this really sweet guy who, I honestly think, has a lot of potential. I think he’s going to do great.”
