Have you seen the Saved by the Bell Reunion photo on the cover of People magazine? Did you notice anyone missing? Turns out Dustin Diamond, who played Screech, was banned from the reunion photo shoot by the rest of the Saved by the Bell cast.

A People magazine spokeswoman commented, “Cast members were not comfortable with including him.”

One reason that Dustin Diamond may have been banned from the Saved by the Bell reunion photo is that he was planning to release a “tell-all” book about the teen show, threatening to air a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff about the cast and guest stars.

Then again, Diamond’s book is probably full of lies.

“Bell” star Mark-Paul Gosselaar joked to Newsweek magazine: “What is he going to say? We were (bleeping) groupies at 14? I can’t wait to read his book, because I don’t have a memory of a lot of the shows. Maybe it was because I was doing lines off of the audience members’ asses. I’m sure he’s going to write something crazy like that. So he’s writing a book, I’m not really afraid of what he has to say. There are not too many skeletons in my closet.”
