So, the Saturday Night Live/SNL Tiger Woods skit is drawing some criticism, not for ripping on Tiger, but for being insensitive about domestic abuse on the same show that Rihanna was the musical guest.

The Saturday Night Live Tiger Woods sketch is in the video clip above, showing Tiger Woods holding multiple press conferences – and taking more of a beating from his wife every time he opens his mouth about his “transgressions.”

Is the SNL Tiger Woods sketch controversial? Was it wrong for Saturday Night Live writers to take this approach, given Rihanna’s recent history with domestic abuse at the hand of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown?

Rihanna has not issued a statement about the SNL Tiger Woods sketch.

I think that Tiger needs to file a real police report and have her locked up. Abuse is abuse, and she is a nut that does not need to be around those kids. Dump her and take the kids and let her go back to her baby sitting job. She needs a life of work to appreciate the comfortable situation she is in, and not be abusive. If that were a man who caught her cheating, and beat her with a gulf club it would not be treated as a joke.

Grow up you so called defenders of domestic abuse. Comedy is the best medicine. Ask those jewish comedians who mock the holocaust or hitler. Mel Brooks is one of the greatest comedians alive. I don’t think anyone didn’t smile at the idea of Hitler on ice. It’s funny. Tigers car got hurt not tiger. What if a person is going to abuse someone and their pants drop? or they slip on a banana? That’s funny. It’s okay to laugh
