In an effort to not look like a chump during the American Idol “Idol Gives Back” campaign, Idol host Ryan Seacrest has donated his paycheck to the fundraiser.

How much of a paycheck? Not sure, really…

But, according to a source: “When he and Simon went to Africa last year and saw the children, it was really life-altering for him. He just knew he had to do his part and be willing to put his money where his mouth is.”

And he certainly has enough of it to lay out for charity. Way to go!
