So, Russell Brand got himself in a spot of trouble last night when he ripped on the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings (see clip above). Even Jordin Sparks made a nonscripted comment about the importance of the promise rings.

No worries, however, Russell Brand apologized later in the show about the Jonas Brothers purity ring jojke. See the video clip after the jump.

Jordin Sparks had made this comment about the promise rings: “I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.”
