Robert Wagner stopped by the September 23 The View to talk about his new autobiography book “Pieces of My Heart” – and to confirm that he did, in fact, have a secret affair with Hollywood screen legend Barbara Stanwyck.

Rober Wagner, now 78, recounts his affair with Barbara Stanwyck that lasted four years. The two met on the set of “Titanic” in 1953 and what followed was a May/December romance – Robert Wagner was just 22 at the time, while Barbara Stanwyck was 45.

Ultimately, the Robert Wagner and Barbara Stanwyck affair couldn’t last because they were both busy with work and yeah, that age difference thing was a factor too.

Robert Wagner was married to actress Natalie Wood from 1957 to 1962 and 1972 to 1981. Natalie Wood died in a drowning accident in 1981.
